The Maestro designation is reserved for brushes manufactured using male winter Siberian kolinsky red sable fur. These are top-of-the-line, highest quality brushes. The extra sharp needle-like point and longer tapered hair length of the Sharp Rounds result in faster action at the tip and the tightest snap at the point. The Travel Rounds come in a compact, hollowed plastic sheath to protect the brush tip in transit. The case unscrews to open and is reattached onto the ferrule to act as the brush handle.The long tapered round is great for fast, loose watercolor painting and for drawing long, clean lines.
