Aquatone Pencils Aquatone pencils are woodless pigment sticks made of the same core material as Derwent watercolor pencils. Each 1/4" diameter pencil can be used in a variety of wet and dry applications. They are rich, easy to draw with and are very much like watercolors when water is added to the pigments.
