Premium Stretched Canvas, Gallery Canvas
This natural, unbleached heavy-weight cotton canvas is stretched around kiln-dried pine stretcher bars. It is back-stapled with folded, uncut corners. The balanced double weave creates an even stretch. The surface is primed with acid-free acrylic titanium gesso. The canvas weight is 12 oz. before priming and 15 oz. after. It is available in two profile depths: Studio canvases are 3/4" deep and Gallery canvases are 1-1/2" deep. These canvases are suitable for use with oil, acrylic, alkyds or other painting mediums. They are also great for heavy paint applications.
