Designers' Gouache, 40ml Tubes
Designers' Gouache offers great versatility to the fine artist and designer and is an unparalleled tool for teaching color theory. Made from the finest pigments selected for high density saturation and lightfastness, this opaque matte paint can be mixed with other colors without the loss of brilliance, opacity or hue value. To create semi-transparency, thin with water or use in dense opaque layers to build the surface body. Completely water-soluble, Designers' Gouache can also be mixed compatibly with Holbein Artists' Watercolor, acrylic, liquid acrylic, Acryla Gouache, DUO Aqua Oil Colors or diluted for airbrush use. Because of its fragile matte surface, care must be taken not to scratch or rub the surface. To strengthen the surface a fixative or matte varnish may be added but the opacity will be affected resulting in a change in surface color. Mediums may be applied, but only in a very thin coat. | |
